What the Bible says about abortion

Although the percentage of North Americans who identify themselves as Christian is dropping almost one percentage point a year, about 76% still consider themselves Christian. On the order of 1% identify themselves as Jewish. An examination of biblical passages on the status of a fetus and abortion may thus be of interest to most of the U.S. and Canadian public.
