What the Bible says about abortion

As of 2014, the percentage of adults in the U.S. who identify themselves as Christian is about 70.6% and is dropping by about one percentage point per year. Meanwhile on the order of 1% identify as Jewish. Canadian figures are slightly lower. Thus, an examination of biblical passages on abortion and the status of an embryo and fetus and may thus be of interest to most of the U.S. and Canadian public.
