BOOKS AND VIDEOS SOLD BY THE "OLD" CULT AWARENESS NETWORK

Before its demise (rather ironically on the eve of Halloween, 1996-OCT-31), the
"old" Cult Awareness Network sold a series of books that reflected the concepts
of the anti-cult movement. i.e. that new religious groups:
 |
Entrapped unsuspecting youth. |
 |
Brainwashed them so that they lost their free will and were unable to resist the group's
message. |
 |
Held them in a form of mental captivity, perhaps involving restricted diets, limited
sleep, long work schedules, etc. |
 |
Cynically exploited them to work for the group. |
