Although most conservative Christian denominations stress the teaching of Paul on salvation, liberal faith groups tend to stress the direct teachings of Jesus. A key passage is Matthew 25:34-45 which allegedly quotes the actual words of Jesus about salvation. He did not mention sexual behavior, presumably because it was not a high priority to him. He explained that a person's salvation is dependent on ones actions towards other people. He mentions: feeding the hungry, giving drinks to the thirsty, giving accommodation to the stranger, clothes to the naked, visiting the sick and imprisoned.
We suggest that you read this essay, and compare them to Matthew 25, and select which ever belief system you feel is the most valid.
Fornication and adultery are unforgivable sins:
GOD is awesome.
There is no such thing as a "fornicating Christian"
because according to the Bible it states that such
WERE some of you. Meaning BEFORE we received the HOLY GHOST, the saints USED to
fornicate and commit adultery.
I Corinthians 6:9-11:
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be
not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor
effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortionists,
shall inherit the kingdom of God.
And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye
are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
Being saved means to be a witness to others of a sanctified lifestyle;
however, Paul addressed this issue. In the passage cited below, Paul was using
an example that a saint who is preaching that someone else should not commit
adultery, should not commit adultery himself. If someone does commit adultery,
Paul stated that he is "blaspheming" GOD among the heathens. If a saint does
judge another for their sins, but does the same thing or the same sin of
adultery, this passage states that he is condemned. If you do your research on
the word "condemned," it also means to d--n, DOOM, DEATH, or to condemn to hell.
So far, the scriptures are confirming that the sin of adultery condemns to
HELL. In other words the sin of adultery committed
by A SAINT causes him/her to become uncircumcised or unholy and condemned to
hell without a chance for repentance. The person, through their own actions,
sends himself to hell based on this one sin and the Bible states that the
backsliding saint has NO excuses (i.e.: "inexcusable").
Romans 2:1-25:
Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest:
for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that
judgest doest the same things.
But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them
which commit such things.
And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and
doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and
longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to
repentance?
But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath
against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour
and immortality, eternal life:
But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey
unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew
first, and also of the Gentile;
But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew
first, and also to the Gentile:
For there is no respect of persons with God.
For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as
many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the
law shall be justified.
For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things
contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience
also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else
excusing one another;)
In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according
to my gospel.
Behold, thou art called a Jew, and restest in the law, and makest thy boast
of God,
And knowest his will, and approvest the things that are more excellent,
being instructed out of the law;
And art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of
them which are in darkness,
An instructor of the foolish, a teacher of babes, which hast the form of
knowledge and of the truth in the law.
Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that
preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal?
Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit
adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?
Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest
thou God?
For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is
written.
For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a
breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.
The Apostle Paul even informed the church what to do with a brother who is a
part of an assembly and decides to fornicate. Paul not only told them to put
this WICKED person out of the church, he also reprimanded them for wanting to
attempt to save his spirit from hell or satan even though he was condemned. Paul
told them that this was NOT good to attempt to still keep this wicked
fornicating person among the saints. Paul told the believers that they were
unleavened, but the fornicator was leavened.
1 Corinthians 5:1-8:
It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such
fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should
have his father's wife.
And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done
this deed might be taken away from among you.
For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already,
as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my
spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the
spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leavened the
whole lump?
Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are
unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the
leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity
and truth.
It is impossible for a saint to be BOTH wicked and righteous. Did you notice
that Paul did not tell the brothers and sisters of the church, "Yea, the
fornicator better get back down on that altar," "He just backslide," or "He
needs to be renewed back to repentance"? No, Paul demanded that they kick this
WICKED fornicator OUT from among the saints.
I Corinthians 5:9-13:
I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous,
or extortionists, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the
world.
But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is
called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer,
or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge
them that are within?
But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among
yourselves that wicked person.
The Apostle Paul declared that a fornicator was not to be considered a
"brother" even though this wicked person was just calling himself a "brother";
therefore, this is proof that a Christian or brother in CHRIST can not be both a
brother AND a fornicator.
This proves that there is no fornicating "Christians." According to Paul, once a
person fornicates, he is NO LONGER to be called a brother.
He was warning the saints that if a saint backslides and becomes a fornicator,
that the person officially is no longer a part of the body of CHRIST, but is to
be separated because he/she is now a WICKED person. He was telling the saints
that they knew how to identify a wicked person outside of the church; therefore,
they should also know to discern a wicked person within the church hiding as a
brother. Paul used the ONE sin of fornication as a foundation or truth to demand
that the person was not only wicked, but also to have no fellowship with him.
Breaking bread and fellowship was a practice among the saints and Paul not only
kicked this wicked fornicator out of the church, but he also warned the people
not to even eat any longer with this reprobate or transgressor or to continue to
treat him as a brother.
The Apostle Paul had revelation about the reprobate mind because he spoke about
a fornicator rejected by GOD in Romans 1. GOD rejected fornicators and
wickedness because they refused to retain GOD in their knowledge.
Romans 1:18-32:
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and
unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath
shewed it unto them.
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly
seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power
and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither
were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish
heart was darkened.
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to
corruptible man, and to birds, and four-footed beasts, and creeping things.
Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their
own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the
creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections:
for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against
nature:
And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in
their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly,
and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave
them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness,
covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit,
malignity; whisperers,
Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil
things, disobedient to parents,
Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection,
implacable, unmerciful:
Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are
worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do
them.
Paul knew that GOD rejects the fornicators and he taught the saints to do
the same. Now this backslider can not stop sinning because only the power of
the HOLY GHOST could have restrained satan's powers over a person. When GOD
gives one up to a reprobate mind, he or she can not stop sinning because GOD
gives them up to do ALL unrighteousness as their punishment or judgment.
When he dies, he is doomed to hell for eternity.
Matthew 12:43-45:
When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry
places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when
he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.
Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than
himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man
is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked
generation.
The Bible also uses this example about when a man's house or temple is
cleaned by the HOLY GHOST indwelling and then satan attempts to inhabit the
person's body again as an illustration of what happens when a saint backslides.
If satan does tempt the person to blaspheme and backslide, then the Bible states
that the latter end is worst than in the beginning.
This is why there are so many wicked, fornicating and committing adultery FALSE
pastors.
2 Peter 2:20-22:
For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the
knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled
therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness,
than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered
unto them.
But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is
turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing
in the mire.
They are possessed with wicked spirits worst than before they got saved. They
are devils and the saints are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but a
principality or a devil. This is why the Bible states in Mark 16 that it is our
job to cast out these devils.
Jude 1-25:
Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are
sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:
Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common
salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye
should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the
saints.
For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained
to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into
lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that
the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward
destroyed them that believed not.
And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own
habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the
judgment of the great day.
Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving
themselves over to fornication, and going after
strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of
eternal fire.
Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and
speak evil of dignities.
Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about
the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but
said, The Lord rebuke thee.
But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know
naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after
the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding
themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of
winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by
the roots;
Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to
whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold,
the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among
them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of
all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their
mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration
because of advantage.
But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles
of our Lord Jesus Christ;
How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should
walk after their own ungodly lusts.
These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in
the Holy Ghost,
Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus
Christ unto eternal life.
And of some have compassion, making a difference:
And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the
garment spotted by the flesh.
Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you
faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power,
both now and ever. Amen.
On the contrary, instead of the saints casting out these wicked backsliders
or devils, they are embracing them (just as the church of Corinthians attempted
to do ) and rebuking the saints who demand that these wicked persons be removed
from the assemblies.
The Bible is clear that all "wh0remongers" shall burn in the lake of fire.
Revelation 21:8:
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and
wh0remonger, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their
part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second
death.
Yes, to conclude, it is the doctrine of the Bible that anyone who has
received the HOLY SPIRIT and falls into temptation of fornication or adultery by
committing these sins for a season or ONCE can not repent or be saved or renewed
BACK to repentance based on the research and reiterating Hebrews 6 and Hebrews
10.
