Severn Suzuki, 13, the daughter of the well known Canadian environmentalist, David Suzuki, represented ECO, the Enviromental Children's Organization. She addressed the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCD) during 1992-JUN in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In the video, a group of people read sections of the Charter for Compassion, as written by an organization of the same name. It is an enhancement of the Ethic of Reciprocity which is called The Golden Rule in Christianity.
