This section describes many dozens of proofs which have been put forth by young-earth creation scientists to prove that the earth and the rest of the universe are less than 10,000 years old. Each proof is accompanied by a rebuttal which describes why scientists believe that the proofs are without validity.

We have a corresponding essay which gives dozens of proofs by scientists to prove that the earth is extremely old -- that the earth's crust coalesced in excess of four billion years ago. These arguments also contain rebuttals from religious sources.
