Hatewatch.org "monitors the evolving problem of online bigotry." It
grew from a Harvard University library guide called: "A guide to hate groups
on the Internet." It has evolved to become a non-profit agency that is
independent of Harvard. They define online bigotry as the product of "an
organization or individual that advocates violence against or unreasonable
hostility toward those persons or organizations identified by their race,
religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender or disability. Also
including organizations or individuals that disseminate historically inaccurate
information... for the purpose of vilification."
