A.I. URGES DECRIMINALIZATION OF HOMOSEXUAL BEHAVIOR

 Amnesty International, the world-wide human rights organization, notes
that homosexuals are being killed, tortured and imprisoned around the
world. They said that gays and lesbians are particularly vulnerable to
human-rights abuses and face persecution in up to 60 countries for their
sexual orientation. They noted that homosexual behavior is still illegal
in Nigeria, Romania and India.
[They might have added the United States as well. Many states have
anti-sodomy laws still on the books. Jamaica is another country that
