Conservative Protestant Christian sources:

These groups typically believe that the Bible is inspired by God, and is inerrant (without error). They follow what they believe to be historical Christian theology. They usually promote conservative social policies concerning human sexuality, equal rights for gays and lesbians, access to abortions, corporal punishment of children, the death penalty, physician assisted suicide, etc.

Caution: Some of the definitions of common religious words used by these sites may be confusing to the average person. They often restrict the term "Christian" to refer to themselves; others might use the term "evangelical Christian." They may use the term "non-Christian" to refer to mainline and liberal Christian groups as well as Muslims, Hindus, followers of Aboriginal and Neo-Pagan religions etc. They have unique definitions for abortion and homosexually related terms, like "pregnancy," "sexual orientation," "lifestyle," etc. This makes attempts at dialogue almost impossible. We have prepared a cross-cultural dictionary to clarify the different meanings assigned to common words by conservative Christians.

American Family Association is a ministry of Dr. D.E. Wildmon. They publish the AFA Journal. Their frequently engage in economic boycotts, attacks on new religious movements, and attacks on equal rights for homosexuals. See: http://www.afa.net

Christian Coalition of America is an organization promoting conservative Christian legislation. At the last national election, they distributed a record 70 million voter guides throughout all 50 states promoting Republican candidates. They are at http://www.cc.org/

Family Research Council is an Fundamentalist Christian political organization located in Washington DC. They specialize in opposing abortion access, comprehensive sex-education, equal rights for gays and lesbians, and same-sex marriage. See: http://www.frc.org/ 

Focus on the Family is perhaps the largest organization in the US which is dedicated toward promoting a conservative view of family life. They are strongly opposed to equal rights for gays, and abortion access. They promote home schooling, discipline by corporal punishment of children and infants as young as 18 months of age, etc.. Free Bible Commentary is an immense personal effort of over 6,000 pages by Dr. Bob Utley, a retired Professor of Hermeneutics with more than 16 years full-time university teaching experience. He beleives that the "Bible is the sole inspired self-revelation of the one true God," and that many other theologians who offer conflicting interpretations are in error because of their inappropriate methods of analysis. Bob Larson Ministries promotes the evils of the occult including Satanism and Wicca. Although these two religions are essentially unrelated, Larson seems to imply that they are both evil and similar. Rapture Forums: This is "An interactive community awaiting the return of the Lord Jesus Christ," See: http://www.raptureforums.com/ They have a "rapture dashboard" that estimates on a weekly basis "...how fast we are moving towards the rapture." Last time we looked, on 2008-APR-21, it was at 140 MPH, which is interpreted as "Fasten your seat belts."
