directed against President Obama

Quotation:
Bill Maher: "These people want to call Obama a certain word ... and
they can't. So they call him every other word. He's a communist; he's a
fascist; he's a Marxist. But there's a word they want to call him. It begins
with 'n' and ends with 'er' and its not 'nation builder'." 1
Racism and the presidency:
The hot topic in Washington, DC and around the nation during late summer in 2009
is health insurance reform. Debate has been vitriolic at times. Some political
commentators and former president Jimmy Carter believe that some opposition to
President Obama's policies exhibits such intense animosity that it can only be
grounded in racism.
