Past experiences improve one's future:

How the media distorts reality:
A man is taking a walk in Central park in New York. Suddenly he sees a little girl being attacked by a pit bull dog. He runs over and starts fighting with the dog. He succeeds in killing the dog and saving the girl's life. A policeman who was watching the scene walks over and says: "You are a hero," tomorrow you can read it in all the newspapers: "Brave New Yorker saves the life of little girl." The man says: "But I am not a New Yorker!" "Oh, then it will say in newspapers in the morning: Brave American saves life of little girl" - the policeman answers. "But I am not an American!" - says the man. "Oh, what are you then?" The man says: "I am a Saudi!" Then next day the newspapers say: "Islamic extremist kills innocent American dog

A prayer of a conservative Christian who is truly repentant for his beliefs:
David Hayward, the "naked pastor" describes himself as a graffiti artist on the walls of religion. He published a cartoon showing a person kneeling in prayer, in apparent emotional agony, confessing his inability to embrace beliefs that are expected of him. He prays:
"God, I'm doing this because I was told I should.
Please forgive me:
-
for loving the wrong kind of people;
- for believing that you love everyone equally;
- for questioning the existence of a place of eternal torture called Hell;
- for thinking that a person's sexual orientation is none of my business and does not affect your love for us;
- for not judging people of other faiths as wrong;
and
-
for agreeing too much with the atheists.
Amen."
He has published "Naked Pastor 101" which contains 101 of this cartoons, ten of which are unique to this book. Read reviews or order this book safely from Amazon.com online book store You can download the book in eBook format from his website at: http://www.nakedpastor.com/

An optical illusion:
What you see is a negative image which looks surprisingly like a historical impression of what Jesus looked like.
