AUG-19: Pope delivers talk at German synagogue: For the second time in history, a pope entered a Jewish synagogue. Pope Benedict XVI gave a talk at the Synagogue of Cologne in Germany. At the end of his talk, he received a standing ovation. On the next day, he will meet with a group of Protestant leaders. On the day following that, he will meet with a group of Muslim leaders. |
