Interfaith information sources:

bulletMultifaith Resources 1 provides "quality materials, focused on day-to-day encounters, prepared by persons representative of two or more religious traditions." They also assist in the successful use of the materials. They sell a variety of  multifaith calendars and books describing religious festivals.  Its founder, Rev. Charles R White, has had over 20 years experience in cross-cultural and interfaith relations in North America.
bulletA Covenant of Beloved Community was developed by the Beloved Community Team (Judith Chandler, Ann Folk, Ellen Johnson-Fay, Ed Hocker, and Judy Offerdahl) of All Souls Unitarian Church of Colorado Springs, CO. Although it was compiled for use within a single Unitarian congregation, it may be found to be equally applicable for an inter-faith group. In fact, a typical Unitarian church is itself a multi-faith group of individuals following Buddhist, Christian, Jewish, Neopagan and/or other traditions. An excerpt from their Covenant's "Awareness of self and others" section is: "People give time, love, and energy in order to further the community. We extend ourselves and build relationships with many different people, knowing that personal relationships indicate a degree of vulnerability. We are a shelter of many beliefs where minority and opposing views are accepted, even cherished." 2
bulletRev. Angela Plum has written "An Interfaith Minister's Manual." It includes the seasonal days of celebration of many religions, a glossary of religious symbols and their meaning, and a collection of scripts for performing various rituals: marriage, memorial service, confirmation, baptism, etc. 3
bulletCorrectional Service, Canada maintains an extensive list of Religious Diets, General Guidelines. They are intended for the guidance of Federal prison employees in the preparation of food for Canadian inmates of various faiths. Their information should be applicable in the U.S. 4
bulletMainstream Loudoun is a local inter-faith grassroots organization in Loudoun County, VA. They promote the separation of church and state, religious and intellectual freedom, public education and religious diversity. They offer help in starting a Mainstream group in other communities. 5
